What is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is meant to assist individuals with reaching their goals and finding meaning and purpose in their lives, bringing them to a state where they reach a heightened level of personal growth, value, commitment and dedication to being the best version of themselves. Life coaching is both an awakening and a transformative process, with a view to taking small steps towards each goal, one day at a time.

Mental Health Challenges

Everyone has mental health, not everyone has a mental illness. This service can assist individuals with their past, present and future states with respect to their mental health. Many people live their day to day lives with mental health challenges that they may or may not be aware of, and because of these waves of negative and positive periods of mental health, many of the outcomes that manifest can also be positive and negative. Transformative Life Coaching can assist with this through applying healthy counselling, and the teaching and practices of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Time Line Therapy.

Addiction Counselling

Our society deals with a large number of men and women, young and elderly who combat the disease of addiction and alcoholism. This is a disease which lives deep within the unconscious mind and takes control of the conscious mind. Actions, decisions, feelings and thoughts are all controlled by addiction and for many people, it becomes overwhelming and life becomes unmanageable. Supporting individuals with their addiction and alcoholism challenges by helping them to understand what is happening in their mind and body, this is one of the key steps to starting the journey to recovery, along with many other areas of learning to further understand how to overcome the addiction. Our services in addiction and alcoholism are motivated by success stories, of individuals who have overcome their addiction and alcoholism and now live meaningful and purposeful lives

Goal Setting & Self Accountability

It is said that those who write down their goals are much more likely to strive towards them and take action in doing so. Writing down SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and with Timelines) will benefit people to take a step back and figure out what they truly want to achieve, while simultaneously helping their unconscious mind to change gears and begin to work towards reaching their goals. This will bring action as well as a personal change to people who struggle to formulate goals, remain accountable and take daily action. Being accountable for one’s actions is vital in the growth process; accountability is simply acting upon what you said you would do. Neuro-Linguistic Programming helps to build a vision which will enable individuals to remain accountable for their own actions. This will ensure they gain the benefits of being able to take meaningful action, design and then work towards following a self-directed and self-motivated plan.

Understanding & Harnessing Self-Care Practices

Many people find themselves overwhelmed or simply put, being burnt-out, meaning they are unable to break the limitations they feel they are in due to their job, family, friends, mindset, past etc… Understanding and harnessing self-care practices will enable individuals to feel a sense of peace and serenity within themselves to assist them in not feeling burnt-out. This will help them to constantly be conscious and self-aware of their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual states with a much more positive outlook. Self-care practices assist individuals with various tools to feel better about themselves and build energy in their lives rather than be neutral in the place they feel they are trapped within

Dismantling & Overcoming Limiting Beliefs, Negative Emotions & Fear

“I can’t get into that university”, is a simple example of a limiting belief, and it can be changed. Time Line Therapy will assist individuals in escaping the grasp of a limiting belief, and in effect it will teach them how to both discover and eliminate many limiting beliefs they may have. This will ensure they begin to stop living in a bubble they have created, and shape the life they desire and deserve. Why live life in the past? Eliminating negative emotions is a process by which individuals get rid of all the negative emotions they have been feeling for weeks, months and in some cases years or decades. This service brings people to the present without feeling the negative emotions and fears they have felt in the past, guiding them to living a healthier and happier life without feeling held back, de-motivated or disconnected. Remove the rear-view mirror and be grateful, live with enthusiasm through the front windshield view ahead.

Re-Shaping Negative to Positive Thoughts, Behaviours & Actions

Having a negative habit, trait or characteristic is something everyone possesses, however that does not mean people cannot rid themselves of it. Neuro-Linguistic Programming will help to guide individuals to shift away from negative habits and move towards positive habits that are healthy for their mind and body. With this service comes neurological work with the brain and body simultaneously to ensure that there is constant action towards shifting and transforming into healthier habits. One example we are able to share is that of food. The process of re-shaping negative to positive behaviours can include eating habits. As an example, let’s say someone drinks tea every night before bed, and they want to stop this habit. Neuro-Linguistic Programming equips us with a tool that will enable this individual to go from drinking tea every night before bed, to drinking a tall glass of milk, or a glass of water, or even to a healthier tea option. This change can also be made into meditation or a workout routine before bed, rather than a beverage. Improving Personal Relations & Social Disorders

Personal relations are established by how we relate to one another, and interact with others. The step-by-step program guides individuals to developing stronger communication and linguistic skills with the people they interact with on a daily basis, whether it be co-workers, family members or friends. The benefits of this are remarkable because people will begin to see that it only takes a few steps to improve the relationships they want to improve, why healthy relations lead to and build personal harmony and to others, positive outlooks and outcomes. Social disorders are also a common challenge in a large part of our societies, these include fear, past trauma, social distress of situations in which you may be judged or feel negative or worry about embarrassing or humiliating yourself, intense fear of interacting or talking with strangers, the fear that others will notice that you look anxious which includes the fear of visible physical symptoms that may cause you embarrassment, such as blushing, sweating, trembling or having a shaky voice. Some others include avoidance of doing things or speaking to people out of fear of embarrassment and avoidance of situations where you might be the center of attention or create unwanted confrontational situations. Transformative Life Coaching will assist in helping individuals to overcome these disorders and live and behave freely and in comfort to enjoy and be excited about each interaction, friendship or relationship.
